Batts Hill Surrey Dry GINspresso Martini

Batts Hill Surrey Dry GINspresso Martini

We have reinvented the espresso martini, replacing the vodka with our Surrey Dry Gin and we think it’s absolutely delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Batts Hill gin
  • 25ml *sugar syrup
  • 50ml cold espresso
  • fresh coffee beans (or an orange twist) to garnish

Method:

    1. In a shaker filled with ice add all the ingredients
    2. Shake very well until cold. Look for the ‘crema’, aka foam on top of a good espresso. This is made by shaking the drink a little harder than normal.
    3. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
    4. Garnish with fresh coffee beans
    5. Sip & Enjoy
*You can make your own sugar syrup by warming up equal amounts of white sugar and water (ie 200g sugar and 200ml water) and stirring until the sugar has dissolved, then allow to cool. Top tip:- It will keep in the fridge for up to a month.
