Forget the sugar & lemon but instead, grab your bottle of Batts Hill gin and add some zing to your pancakes with our delicious Gin Toffee Sauce...
50ml Batts Hill gin
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons sugar
120ml double cream
Bring butter, sugar, and cream to the boil in a small saucepan. Keep stirring until all the sugar has melted. Add the gin and take off the heat, keep stirring until it is well combined.
Drizzle the gin syrup (hot or cold) over the top of your pancakes making sure that the luscious liquid oozes its way down (or across) your stack.
Optionally garnish with fresh strawberries.
Of course, a signature Batts Hill G&T on the side is a must, garnished with a lemon slice- we couldn’t possibly let them go to waste...
