The Pink Rose is a classic gin cocktail, a close cousin of the vintage Pink Lady, dating back to the 1930s. Grenadine gives it its signature colour, cream adds silkiness, and a dry shake with egg white builds a proper foam cap. Beautifully pink and genuinely delicious, a lovely one for Mother's Day or any occasion that calls for something pretty.
Ingredients
- 25ml Batts Hill Cucumber & Clementine Gin
- 15ml grenadine
- 15ml lemon juice
- 10ml cream
- 1 egg white
Method
- Dry shake all the ingredients in a shaker (no ice).
- Add ice and shake until cold, about 20 seconds.
- Strain over fresh ice into a balloon glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
