A Relaxed Tasting at Our Working Distillery
Looking for something a little different? Come and spend an hour or two with us, taste our gins and get a glimpse behind the scenes of a small independent distillery.
You’ll be based around our bar and patio, with the chance to see our distilling room, bottling and labelling area and little distillery shop. It’s rustic, relaxed and very much a working space - which is exactly how we like it.
We'll guide you through the Batts Hill story, introducing each of our award-winning spirits as you discover how different botanicals create their unique flavour profiles. Along the way you'll learn how the right tonic, garnish and serve can completely transform a gin.
There's no formal lecture and no intimidating gin jargon, just great conversation with the founders, plenty of laughter and a genuine passion for sharing what we make.

Batts Hill isn't a visitor attraction or a commercial distillery with coaches arriving every hour.
Our tastings take place in our converted horse stables overlooking the working farm, creating a relaxed, intimate atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
Our tastings are perfect for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, hen parties, family reunions, entertaining visitors from afar or simply catching up with friends over great gin, we love helping people create memorable moments together.
It's this personal approach that keeps guests returning time and time again.
You'll find Batts Hill Distillers at Brightleigh Farm, Millers Lane, Outwood, Surrey RH1 5PY.
Our distillery is set within a beautiful regenerative farm, just a short drive from Reigate, Redhill, Dorking and Gatwick, yet it feels wonderfully tucked away from the everyday.
Free parking is available on site.
Why not arrive a little earlier and explore everything Brightleigh Farm has to offer? Visit the farm shop for fresh local produce, enjoy a coffee, or browse the neighbouring artisan business, like Ceramic Fitch before joining us for your tasting.
Tastings last approximately 90 minutes.
Guests must be 18 or over to take part.
Please arrange transport if you're planning to enjoy all the samples.
The tasting takes place on our covered outdoor patio. While you're protected from the elements, we recommend wearing suitable clothing for the season and weather conditions.
If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
