Batts Hill Gin Apple Chai Gin and Tonic

Batts Hill Gin Apple Chai Gin and Tonic
It's National Gin & Tonic Day so what better way to celebrate than with an unusual but utterly refreshing and delicious Apple Chai G&T. This works particularly well with our smooth dry gin.
Firstly you need to make up some apple chai syrup. You do this by steeping 2 x chai tea bags in 1 x cup of warmed apple cider for 3-5mins. Then add and dissolve 1 cup of Demerara sugar.
Once your syrup has cooled, fill a tall high ball glass with ice, add 50 ml Batts Hill Surrey Dry Gin, 25 ml apple chai syrup and top up with Premium Fever Tree tonic water and stir gently to combine. Finally garnish with a star anise pod.
This one is all too easy to drink on a Friday evening after a short and busy week.
We're raising a respectful glass to the remarkable HRH Prince Philip today. May he rest in peace.
