A close cousin of the classic Chinatown cocktail, traditionally built on brandy and equal parts vermouth. This version leads with gin instead, with just a dash of brandy for depth. The colour is a beautiful warm amber, striking in a chilled flute.
Ingredients
- 25ml Batts Hill Surrey Dry Gin
- 25ml dry vermouth
- 25ml sweet vermouth
- A dash of brandy
Method
- Fill a shaker with ice.
- Add all the ingredients and shake until chilled.
- Strain into a chilled champagne flute.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
